Petaluma Refund & Shipping Policy

REFUNDS We have a 60-day refund policy on the first full-size food and/or treat bag purchase, which means you have 60 days after receiving your first full-size order to request a refund. We define the first full-size order as the first non-sample order associated with your email OR shipping address. Sample orders do not qualify as a first order and are not eligible for refunds. We will consider refunds on subsequent food orders on a case-by-case basis and may charge a restocking fee for the return of unopened bags.

To initiate a refund, you can contact us at hello@feedpetaluma.com. If your refund is accepted (no questions asked as long as it is within 60 days of placing your first order), we'll refund your purchase through your original payment method and provide instructions about how to dispose of or donate the item. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account.

SAMPLES Sample orders are final sale and are not eligible for refunds, returns, or replacements. If your sample arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us at hello@feedpetaluma.com and we will make it right.

RETURNS We do not accept returns of opened bags of food or treats. We suggest that you dispose of it or donate it to another dog.

Returns are required for refunds on unopened bags that do not qualify for the first-time trial. Return-for-refund is granted on a case-by-case basis. Petaluma may charge a restocking fee to offset the cost of return shipping. Sample orders are not eligible for return.

SHIPPING We do not guarantee shipping delivery dates due to variability out of Petaluma's control.

Orders for food products will be fulfilled the same day if placed before 11 am local time on business days (Monday - Friday excluding holidays). Otherwise, they will be fulfilled the following business day.

Shipping times usually range from 1 to 5 business days depending on the distance from the fulfillment center. However, carrier delays can result in longer delivery windows up to 10 business days.

We only ship to locations within the contiguous United States (i.e. 48 states excluding Alaska and Hawaii).

DAMAGES & ISSUES Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
