To make a long story short, my dachshund mix, who's almost 9 years old, has BVS, a condition that causes nausea and vomiting in between meals. I feed him three times a day with treats in between to prevent this, but I've also discovered that adding some whole food to his regular kibble alleviates the issue completely. To make sure he was still getting the right nutrients, I was previously using fresh frozen food as a topper (25% of his meal), but it was getting expensive and I hated how wasteful it felt shipping frozen food. I tried a well-known dehydrated food brand to replace it, but it did not sit well with my dog. I figured it couldn't hurt to get a trial bag of this new food from Petaluma and see if it works. Lo and behold, he loves it and I've not seen any digestive issues whatsoever. It also smells SO MUCH better than the meat-based dehydrated food we tried before. Thank you for making a balanced topper that's easy to love! :)

My dogs are so in love with the new mixer. I feed as a meal. They are so in love with it. They lick the bowl even after it gone. I have never seen them do that. I have already ordered 10 bags . They are so happy no skin issues or licking at all. I live in a state where the allergies are so bad. I work in a vets office and see dogs with horrible skin issues. Because of Petaluma my dogs have gorgeous coats. Thank you for making this wonderful food. Please continue making wonderful products.i will keep buying. Customer her for life.

My dog Lupin is obsessed with the Whole Food Mixer! I love that it’s made with real, clean ingredients I can actually recognize.
We use it as a topper on his Petaluma Adult food and sometimes as a full meal when we’re traveling or want to spoil him a little extra. It’s super easy to prep, and it smells so good! Lupin gives it 10/10 tail wags every time!

I have been feeding my little Katie girl Petaluma Roasted Peanut Butter & Sweet Potato kibble for the past 3 years. It is the best plant based kibble that we have tried and she does so well on it and gobbles it up (she is a tiny pup and I have to crush it a little bit for her, not a problem at all). We recently tried the sample of the Whole Food Mixer and Katie devoured it. So happy that it is now available to order. Just placed my subscription order and am looking forward to receiving it; I usually top her kibble with veggies but the Whole Food Mixer makes it so convenient. My seven dogs love this food. They can not wait until dinner and breakfast. I am so glad I found this food. I feel like.y dogs are much healthier now. No upset stomachs ever. Thank you for making our dogs healthy. Maybe make some different flavors just to mix it up.

I was skeptical that he would even try it, but he loves it! I introduced it to him slowly and he now only eats Petaluma mixed with cooked food. He's doing well! His teeth are much cleaner-traditional kibble causes a lot of plaque buildup-and I feel better knowing he is eating a better quality food that is conscientious of our environment. Btw, they're also great as training treats! Good for healthy rewards or for just spoiling him ;-)

I've been meaning to try these out. Even though I'm still unsure about switching to plant-based meals for my dogs, they've been getting only plant-based treats. I was wondering how these would work out, since I've tried other sweet potato treats that had sharp pieces/edges. These are a little bit softer, which makes them easier for my dogs to chew without breaking them into potentially dangerous pieces. The only downside is they don't last terribly long, but both my dogs love them!

My dog tried the sample we bought of Petaluma Roasted Peanut Butter & Sweet Potato . He stopped eating the other high quality meat food so we quickly ordered a full bag while we sprinkled bits of the remaining sample in the meat food so he would be enticed to eat in the meantime. He seems to really enjoy his new food.

I purchased one of each formula as 2 of my pups are young, 7months & 3yrs, & 1 is a senior, 11yrs, because my two young ones are allergic to most meat.
My only issue, that one of my extremely picky pups noticed as well, is that the roasted pb & sweet potato kibble is now larger & he began spitting it out! Luckily, he loved it again after I began soaking it.

My dog is a bit picky and developed an allergy to poultry and it was so hard to find a high quality food that he both liked and that agreed with him. The vegan part is a HUGE bonus for me personally (and for the animals)! Thank you so much for having the vision to develop this wonderful food!

Since Paula Pitbull, mostly vegan, lived to be 17, vegan dog food for her successors, Winky Smalls and Elijah McClain, was a nobrainer. But I eat organic, for my health and that of Mother Earth, so was super happy to find a mostly organic brand of vegan dog food. I cook for my kids in the evening -- actually they get the bland version of what I am eating - but it sure is easy to give them a couple of cups of Petaluma in the morning while I am having coffee, knowing they are getting all the nutrients they need.
They get excited when the box arrives and even more so when I open the bag and the smell of goodness fills the room. They love Petaluma!

Petaluma is a wonderful company. My dogs love it. I add a bit of fresh food…a few organic chick peas, etc…but I know the staple of Petaluma is great on its own! I highly recommend.

My little guy loved this treat, he danced around it and played with it before running off to chew away. Makes me feel good to see him eat something I know is health and good for him.
