I have two elderly pups, one of whom is quite picky. I was making her special meals for months until I found Petaluma. The dehydrated meals are plant-based/vegan and she loves them. It’s also cleared out her glands and she is way more regular.

Our two rescues have been on a vegan diet, both for digestive issues and because we are vegan as well. My Pitbull has allergies and is a pickey eater but loves Petaluma! I switched for a few months to another dog food because of cost and my lab gained weight so back to Petaluma!

I heard the NPR interview and decided to order samples. My dog loves the dry foods but did not like the topper. I’ve tried other vegan dog foods, which she refused to eat. This dog food actually smells good! I’ve been mixing the two varieties for my 9-year old. She suffers from lifelong gastrointestinal disease and has had no issues with this food. Customer service has responded quickly to my questions.

While I typically feed my senior rescue dog fresh, frozen food, I needed something light-weight and easy to travel with since I was bringing my dog to Spain with me. Not only was this food easy to pack and prepare, but my dog loved it and I will continue to add it to her wet food. While in Spain, she ate nothing but the Petaluma and was eager to eat every day.

All three of my rescue dogs love this kibble! And why wouldn't they? It smells like a peanut butter cookie! I love that the pieces are on the larger side and don't have a greasy texture. A handful also makes for a great training treat! I'm also very happy that this company offers a senior formula because my boy is starting to get white hair around his snout, so we'll probably be feeding it to him in the near future.

We have two senior rescue dogs, not happy with the kibble products available we started making their food a couple of years ago. That has worked well but we worried whether they were getting all the correct nutrients so we tried the sample pack and found the girls loved them all. We have since bought the mixer to add as a topping to their daily meals we still make. for them. They eat it all up, no stomach issues and we feel confident now that they are getting the nutrition they require. We highly recommend this product, as do our two girls Lynda and Bunny.

My dog is SUPER PICKY with food so i tried this one.. It seems to be a great food - Baked Hard but still breaks apart easily. But unfortunately my pup was still not a fan! I did give the sample bag to a friend/coworker and her dog loved it!! So even though im still on the hunt for my pup… I FOUND A DOGGIE TO LOVE THIS FOOD AND ITS AMAZING BENEFITS!!!

I have a seven-year-old Pug. He has allergies and ear infections that reoccur. He’s on Apoquel but was still itching and getting the ear infections. My vet suggested a food that didn’t have animal protein in it. She originally suggested a food by Royal canine. And it was fine, but I feel like Petaluma’s food is more transparent about the process and the ingredients. I prefer the ingredients in Petaluma. My dog loves it! His itching has calmed down quite a bit. He’s starting to get another ear infection, but I based that on the fact that he’s always in the mud and dirt. And even though I clean his paws off. I’m sure some yeast gets in there. Pugs, am I right? 🤣. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

My dogs sometimes took all day to eat their breakfast which I tried to make as tasty as possible. Last week, I started feeding them Petaluma and now they clean their bowls and ask for more. It's amazing. I've always fed them vegetarian food for ethical reasons, and I love that this food allows me to give them something I can feel good about and that they enjoy.
